Jamaican Me Crazy Mon'

Life back in reality sure is tough.  Especially after spending a week in paradise! Sorry for the blogging hiatus
but I find it very hard to get back into reality after a week on vacation.  We loved our trip to Jamaica.  I was a little worried about visiting just because we were staying at a boutique hotel a little off the beaten path.
It was not an all inclusive, but once we got there and got adjusted to the Jamaican lifestyle, it was an awesome trip.  The people there are very genuine and down to earth.  Every local we met want to
shake hands or pound our fists and talk.  Jamaica just has a really cool vibe.  So heres for the trip recap.

Day 1: We arrived mid afternooon and were greeted by a severe thunderstorm.  We took our umbrella
down to Norma's, which was the restaurant at our hotel, and grabbed some grub for a late lunch.  Don't have any picutres because of the storm, but let's just say we were soaked by the time we got back to our room. After showeirng and a nap, we decided to try and make the best of the weather and go out to dinner.  Luckily, the weather calmed down a bit and allowed us to do so.  We hailed a cab and prayed we wouldn't end up dead (more on the driving bit later), and headed to dinner.  We had no clue where to go so
we let of taxi driver take us somewhere he reccommended and we ended up here:

The restaurant was called Rockhouse Hotel and Bar and it was on the cliff side of Negril. The food and service was awesome and the staff was great.  I ordered the coconut chicken with jamaican veggies
and Chris ordered the jerk chicked pasta with rice and beans.  Yumm-O! After dinner
we walked along the restaurant's edge and watched the water crashing over the cliffs.  The landscape was
gorgeous. Sorry for the blurry pics.  Then, we headed back to our hotel and went to bed. I will do separate blog posts on the rest of the trip as I don't won't to overload one blog post.  Hope everyone has an amazing rest of the weekend!
